A sterling silver ring with a curled, swirling shape across the top of the band, made by melting silver wire and letting it find its own form as it moved. The shape that's settled here can't be replicated, even by me, because the wire decides where it goes once the heat is on it.
The curled section has been soldered onto a fine sterling silver band, finished by hand. A one-off piece in UK size J½, made from recycled sterling silver.
