Returns policy

This page covers how returns work at Almari, including what can be returned, what can't, and how to start the process. If you've got a question that isn't answered here, the best thing to do is to send a message and I'll help directly.

What can be returned

Ready to ship pieces can be returned within 30 days of receiving them, for a full refund. To be eligible for a return, the piece must be in the same condition it arrived in, unworn, and in its original packaging.

What can't be returned

Made to order and bespoke pieces are created specifically for the person who ordered them, often from raw silver up, so they can't be returned once the work has started. The only exception is if a piece arrives faulty, damaged, or significantly different from what was agreed, in which case I'll always put it right.

If you're unsure about sizing, style, or anything else before ordering a made to order or bespoke piece, send a message before you order. I'd much rather have a conversation than make a piece that isn't quite right.

Damaged or faulty pieces

Please check your order when it arrives and get in touch within 7 days if anything is wrong, whether the piece is damaged in transit, has a fault, or isn't what you expected. Send a few photos and a short description, and I'll come back with a plan to repair, replace, or refund as appropriate.

Every piece also comes with a lifetime guarantee for repairs and adjustments later on, separate from the returns process. There's a dedicated lifetime guarantee page with the details.

How to start a return

Send a message to hello@almari-studio.shop with your order number and a quick note about what you'd like to return. I'll come back with the return address and details. Please don't send anything back without getting in touch first, since unannounced returns may not reach me safely.

Return postage is the responsibility of the customer for ready to ship returns. For faulty or damaged pieces, return postage is on me.

EU 14-day cooling-off period

If your order is being shipped to the European Union, you have the legal right to cancel or return your order within 14 days of receiving it, for any reason and without needing to give one. The piece must be returned in the same condition it arrived in, unworn and in its original packaging. This right applies to ready to ship pieces, but not to made to order or bespoke pieces, which are excluded under EU law because they're made specifically for the person who ordered them.

Refunds

Once a returned piece arrives and has been checked, I'll let you know whether the refund has been approved and process it on the original payment method. Refunds usually take up to 10 working days to land in your account, though sometimes your bank or card company will take a little longer to post it. If more than 15 working days have passed since the refund was approved and nothing has arrived, just send a message and I'll chase it up
