Lifetime guarantee

Every piece from Almari comes with a lifetime guarantee. The work is made to be worn, and worn often, and if anything ever needs attention along the way, I'll always look after it.

It's not really a policy. It's part of how the work is made. Each piece is taken from raw silver to finished jewellery in the same studio, by the same hands, so when something needs repair the natural place for it to come back to is the bench it left.

What's covered

If a clasp gives way, a stone comes loose, a piece gets bent out of shape, or something small goes missing (an earring back, a jump ring), send it back to the studio and I'll repair it free of charge.

Repairs usually take between two and four weeks, depending on the complexity, and I'll always let you know what's possible and how long it'll take before getting started.

What's not covered

There are a few things that fall outside what I can do. Lost or stolen pieces aren't something I can replace, and catastrophic damage (a piece run over, crushed, or properly broken in an accident) is usually beyond what a repair can fix. Damage from harsh chemicals like perfume, chlorine, or household cleaners can sometimes be helped and sometimes can't, so it's worth sending photos and we'll see.

Natural tarnish isn't really a fault, just part of how silver lives over time. Every order comes with a small polishing cloth so you can keep your piece looking its best at home, and there's a short jewellery care page with a few simple tips.

How to start a repair

Just send me a message with a few photos of the piece and a short description of what's happened. I'll come back with a plan, and once we've agreed it, you can post the piece to the studio. Return postage to you is included.

Please provide your original order number and email address you ordered from, and I will be able to locate your initial purchase.

A note

The guarantee applies to every piece that leaves the studio, whether ready to ship, made to order, or bespoke. The promise is the same: if something goes wrong with the piece itself, I'll always try to put it right.
